How it works

  1. 01

    Come and meet us

Your first session is free. We'll talk about where you are, where you want to be, and any niggles we should train around — then you'll join a group and lift.

  2. 02

Train in a group of four

Every session is capped at four people with a coach on the floor the whole hour. You get personal attention; the group brings the energy.

  3. 03

    Follow the programme

The whole gym trains the same well-built programme, rotated every four weeks. Your weights, your pace — we track every set so you can watch yourself get stronger.

Why small groups work

A coach who knows you

Not a class instructor at the front of forty people. Your coach knows your lifts, your history and your goals — and adjusts on the spot.

Progress you can see

Every set is logged. Personal records get celebrated the moment they happen — by your coach and by the people training next to you.

People who keep you coming

The hardest part of training is showing up. Train alongside the same friendly faces and it stops being willpower and starts being your week.

Squads, not just sessions

Every month you join a squad — four members and a coach with a similar goal, cheering each other on whether or not you train at the same hour.

Meet the coaches

A small team who coach every hour themselves — no rotating cast of freelancers.

A

Anghjula Casanova

Opened Bavella after a decade coaching on the mainland, on the theory that a gym should feel like the village it is in.

C

Catalina Franceschi

Knows every member's name, their schedule, and precisely how late they are running.

P

Petru Santini

Came to coaching through mountain rescue — twenty years of carrying people off the Aiguilles taught him what useful strength actually looks like.

S

Saveriu Poli

Ex-rugby, now spends his time convincing people that slow reps are not a punishment.
